The practical use of quantum computing is a focal point and priority of many in the field. Join us at the March BQCX session to learn of one such major initiative, the BMBF-funded Q-Exa project, and gain insight on the future of quantum systems in data centers with recently conducted IDC report.
In this presentation we will give an overview of the Q-Exa project in which an IQM quantum computer is integrated into the HPC environment of the Leibniz Rechenzentrum (LRZ). We discuss the benefits of hybrid classical/quantum computing and how we will address the technical implications.
