State of Quantum Research in HPC Centres

Abstract:

This presentation is based on the IQM and Atos — State of Quantum Computing in HPC Research Survey conducted by IDC Europe in August 2021. Decision makers from 110 HPC centres worldwide (41% Asia/Pacific region, 32% North America and 27% EMEA) participated through computer-assisted telephone interviews (CATI) method. Findings include HPC centres’ business and technology challenges as well as their strategy towards quantum computing adoption over the short and medium term.

Biography:

Raghunath Koduvayur is a sales and marketing leader who serves on the board of the Finland-India Business Association and a member of several startup boards. Currently he’s building the future of quantum technologies as the Head of Marketing and Communications, at IQM Quantum Computers. 

Over the last two decades, he has held several business leadership positions within Fortune 100 companies at Microsoft, Nokia, and Tieto. As an entrepreneur, he has founded a predictive shopping startup and successfully led the global sales and marketing for a preventive healthcare startup - Neosmart Health. Raghunath has managed Europe and Asia Pacific regions and lived in Hong Kong, India and been living in Finland since 2008.
